Finance and Administration Manager

As Finance Manager, Ms. Mutui oversees all areas of finance and administration including budgeting, financial management and analysis, payroll, accounts payable and receivables, cash management, inventory, banking, and reconciliations. She develops company policies and procedures including writing and maintaining the Operations Manual and Employee Handbook and ensure compliance with business regulations, tax laws, insurance requirements, industry standards, etc. She also serves as the focal point for human resources. Ms. Mutui previously worked at The Nature Conservancy as a Regional Finance Specialist, Africa coordinating the finance function and the overall review of all contracts and grant agreements. Specifically, overseeing the grants and contract management process, including due diligence and risk assessment, disbursement, financial reporting, capacity building and monitoring of grantees. She holds an Executive Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from United States International University (USIU), a Bachelor of Business Management degree (Banking and Finance option) from Egerton University and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management with eleven years’ experience in Finance, Administration, Grants Management, Human Resources, Office Management, Procurement, and Logistics.
