Amos Chweya

Director, Regional Immunization Advisor

Amos Chweya is a Public Health Professional working with JSI as a senior Regional Immunization Technical Officer. In this role, he provides technical support in strengthening health and immunization supply chain systems to improve immunization coverage, equity, and vaccine introductions within the East and South Africa sub regions. Amos Chweya also serves as the Director of JSI Kenya and serves on inSupply Health’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining JSI, Amos served as a WHO Sub-Regional Technical Officer for the introduction of Inactivated Polio Vaccine seconded to WHO/AFR Intercountry Support Teams (IST) for East and Southern Africa. Over the course of his thirty years experience, he also worked as a National Immunization Vaccine Operations Manager and National EPI logistician in Kenya.
